To all the music lovers and fans of contemporary, electro, ambient or experimental music! For the 2019-2020 season, Kulturfabrik and Vinyl Harvest decided to work together and organize "Listening Sessions" at Kinosch. The aim is to offer music listening sessions with artists from Luxembourg and abroad. We invite you to settle into the comfortable Kinosch chairs, close your eyes and listen... The Kinosch Listening Sessions will be held once a month at Kinosch, the Kulturfabrik’s movie theatre. The first concert in this new series of "Kinosch Listening Sessions" features an improvisational performance by experimental music and improv legends Wolfgang Seidel (modular synthesizer) and Michel Pilz (bass clarinet).

Wolfgang Seidel is one of the most important voices in krautrock (musical genre that emerged in the late 1960s) through his own productions and friendship with krautrock legend Conrad Schnitzler. He was a founding member of the highly influential German rock band Ton Steine Scherben.

Bass clarinetist Michel Pilz plays a pivotal part in Europe's free jazz scene and is often considered the natural successor to Eric Dolphy.

>> The performance will be preceded by a lecture by Wolfgang Seidel.
