It’s a powerful double bill that will cross Europe in Autumn ! On one hand, Enslaved and its melodic & medieval black-viking metal. On the other hand, High on Fire with its strong and energetic heavy metal !
Over the course of more than 25 years, Enslaved have proved themselves to be among the most prodigious and original artists of the modern age. Since the release of E, Enslaved’s last album (2017), the band has been spreading their gospel of musical fearlessness around the world. They once again conquered Europe and North America during late 2017 and early 2018, and will be performing at festivals throughout the summer, including appearances at Wacken Open Air, Hellfest, Beyond The Gates and Psycho Las Vegas. Determined to keep everyone happy, they will also be hitting Australia and Japan for a handful of dates in the autumn, with further plans to explore more of the planet in the very near future.
Legendary metal band High on Fire has wrapped production on their 8th studio LP and is gearing up for its release later this year. The band has been busy in the studio since February putting the finishing touches on yet another blistering album. "The bar has definitely been raised on this one, at least for me. There’s a good mix of fast and slow. The fast has gotten faster and the slow is...still slow”, says drummer Des Kensel. The as-yet-unnamed release will serve as the highly anticipated follow-up to 2015's Luminiferous, which garnered its own massive critical acclaim.
On October 3rd, the two bands will crash their walls of sound at Kulturfabrik for a night to remember !
