Like every year, April sees the return of the Out Of The Crowd festival !

The Schalltot Collective is bringing 11 bands from the current underground scene, spanning everything from electro to rock, experimental or even jazz which will perform on both stages at the Kulturfabrik. Be prepared for a day full of shows, vegetarian food, merch stands and dj sets for this 14th edition that will take place on the 22nd of April 2017 starting at 4 pm.

Line-up

This year's headliners will be the british band GoGo Penguin, the band's returning to Luxembourg after their Sold-Out show at the Philharmonie in 2016. Their blend of jazz and electronics is one of the hottest things around at the moment. The australian band PVT will mark their comeback to the festival after having touched the OOTC's crowd in 2009 with their beautiful performance that blends experimental music with vintage synth sounds and a heartfelt pop sensibility.

This year's edition will welcome another Australian band : Civil Civic who like their indie with an ultimate party factor as well as wild live performances. Indie music will also be represented by Germany's Die Nerven with their angular noise music, USA's Merchandise lush indie-pop with new-wave influences or even UK's new babes Hooton Tennis Club and their 90's influenced rock.

Experimental music will be represented with the stoner/shoegazer outfit True Widow from the USA as well as the great british Math-Rock bands The Physics House Band and Luo.

Finally, just like previous editions, the festival is proud to present two local bands. This year, it will be none other than the psychedelic rockers from The Kooters and Autumn Sweater with their brand of super catchy indie-rock !
