DJ Blueprint’s journey started in 2005. Having played sets in Luxembourg, France, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Croatia, Switzerland, Japan, the Netherlands, the US and the UK, some highlights include opening for ‚Cut Chemist & DJ Shadow', ??CharlesBradley', ‚KRS-One' and playing at events like ‚Mobile Mondays' at The Bowery Electric and ‚Mr. Fine Wine's Wednesdays' at Botanica in New York.
His blog / website, thisistomorrow.net was established in 2006 featuring mixes, 7sand 12s from his collection and guest mixes by DJs and collectors worldwide. The mix series called ‚Obsolete Black Plastic' was featured on Laid Back Radio and has a combined 35000+ listens on Mixcloud. Voted 3rd in the Best DJ Hip-Hop Category at the Luxembourg Nightlife Awards 2016.
As a producer / beatmaker he worked with international and luxembourgish MCs. His track ‚Vibes’ topped 4 million plays on Spotify. As a drummer he worked with luxembourgish Hip Hop Band ‚De Läb’ during 5 years, playing the biggest festivals and stages in Luxembourg and producing / writing various tracks.
Bewitching arrangements, warm low-pitched vocal samples and rousing percussions are Napoleon Gold's favorite tools when producing his ambient electronic tracks.
Since his debut into the world of electronic music, this French producer from Luxembourg has now played over one hundred performances around the world. The mix between electronic sounds, guitars, piano, percussions and subtle improvisations turn each show into a unique experience. In 2018, he released his debut EP A New Colour on the American label Cinematic Music Group.
His new album Sunset Motel was released in October 2019. The 13 tracks of this record weave an enticing retro-futuristic take on pop-RnB where influences of 80s radio artists like Sade, The Blue Nile and the maestro of rockin’ after midnight Marvin Gaye, permeate the album.
