Ten years ago, the Czech adventurer Dan Přibáň set out to prove that you do not need a big expensive truck to make a big journey. Driving a two-stroke engine Trabant – one of Europe´s top three worst cars of all time – he undertook an epic expedition across the continents, accompanied by his film crew. Trabant: There and Back Again is the last instalment of this yellow Trabant odyssey. Starting in India, it leads through Nepal, traverses the Himalayas, and pushes on through Pakistan, China, Uzbekistan, Russia and Ukraine, all the way back home.
Facing no shortage of mishaps and adrenaline-packed moments on their way, the Czech-Slovak-Polish crew never lose their dark humour and their ability to laugh at themselves.
