The collaborative festival in Luxembourg USINA23 is back for another edition on the 3rd and 4th of 2023!
Peter Fox, De Läb & Nicool, Lime Garden, Maale Gars, Interpol, Triggerfrigger, Blond (and many more...!) are part of the line-up for this new edition, which promises to be more eclectic and danceable than ever.
The Kufa is one of the curatorial institutions of the event and is bringing you (in partnership with De Gudde Wëllen) the group Altın Gün.
Altın Gün is an Anatolian rock and Turkish Psychedelic Folk band from Amsterdam. The band was inspired by founder and bass player Jasper Verhulst’s deep passion for Turkish folk and psychedelia. “The songs come out of a long tradition. This is music that tries to be a voice for a lot of other people,” he explains. Following their 2018 debut album On, Altin Gün returned with their sophomore album Gece on April 2019 which earned a Grammy nomination for Best World Music Album. This record firmly establishes the band as masterful interpreters of the Anatolian rock and folk legacy, and as a leading voice in the emergent global psych scene. This music is electric Turkish history, shot through with a heady buzz of 21st century intensity, filled with funk-like grooves and explosive psychedelic textures. Altin Gün's third album, Yol, was released on February 2021.
