INDUS – Colombia – Electro Afro-Colombian Vibes
Indus is a duo that blends ancestral Colombian sounds with analog electronic music. Based in Bogotá and led by producer Oscar Alford—born on the Caribbean coast—the group has independently released an album (2020) and three singles (2020 and 2021), as well as two remix EPs (2020 and 2022) in collaboration with the label Palenque Records.
Indus’ live shows are a surge of acid synths and Afro percussion—an invitation to dance and fall into a trance through rhythms and reinterpretations of traditional Colombian sounds. They've performed at some of Colombia’s most prestigious festivals, such as Colombia al Parque (Bogotá), and more recently at Mutek Festival (Montreal, Canada).
In 2024, the group will release their second album with the renowned label ZZK Records.
