OLD MAN GLOOM

Old Man Gloom is a supergroup (containing members of Converge, ISIS, Cave In, Zozobra, Doomriders, Mamiffer, etc.), but instead of making shitty records like other "supergroups", Old Man Gloom actually makes great ones. Old Man Gloom was formed in 1998 and have been non-stop great since then.

 The acronym for Old Man Gloom is "OMG". "OMG" has become a household phrase since its introduction in to the popular lexicon in 1999, directly coinciding with the formation of Old Man Gloom the year prior. The group has never been properly credited for this massively important contribution to global culture. The band has said this when asked about the reason for their existence: 

 "Gloom is all, all is Gloom. Our servitude to the cause is unwavering, our devotion to the spread of its reach unyielding. This is not mere dogma, not calloused reiteration of flimsy slogans, not hollow spiritual bellowing - this is our very life's blood, this is the throbbing marrow in our bones, this is the fire in our hearts and in our eyes. When we are enacting the Rites of Gloom there is no other moment, there is no self, there is no mind - there is only that one blinding, all encompassing incandescent glow, the celestial ocean in which we swim, the very womb of the universe from which all life springs. There is no time, no space, no being. Only love. And Gloom."

STROMMORTS (CH) - Opening Act

Strommorts is an electronic drone project. The band is composed of veteran members of the Post-Metal bands Knut and Abraham. Strommorts was born from a common passion for synthesizers and drone/ambient music and they started playing and composing together in November 2018 in Conthey Switzerland. Following the sudden loss of their founding member Didier Séverin (Knut) in March 2022, Strommorts currently performs as a duo (Olivier Hähnel, Mathieu Jallut). The goal of Strommorts is to compose music deeply inspired by their direct alpine environment and its weather that -changing with the seasons- slides over impassive mountains. They also want to provoke deep listening with a minimalist music composed of subtle evolutions that can intervene over a period of several minutes and provoke a meditative state due to a deep and sustained concentration.

Dutch duo Dead Neanderthals have spent more than a decade putting together an eclectic and envious back catalogue that spans multiple genres – from free-jazz to grindcore and from snail-paced doom to krautrock – and continuously throwing curve balls that defy expectations. You never know what you’ll get, but you know it’ll be heavy. Dead Neanderthals have toured around Europe and the US multiple times, have played at festivals like Roadburn and Le Guess Who? and have collaborated with artists such as Scott Hedrick (Skeletonwitch), Machinefabriek, Aaron Turner (Old Man Glood, ISIS, etc) and Colin Webster (Sex Swing, Idles, etc)
