The Braderie Urbaine is back in 2023, with a musical line-up that is more rock and eclectic than ever! The two Swiss bands, Blind Butcher and Reverend Beat-Man, are in charge of the evening's live performances, starting at 8.30 pm in the Kufa’s small hall. These will be followed by a DJ set to dance the night away.

Reverend Beat-Man is a One-Man Band that started its career in 1986 in Bern. Since then, he has toured the world without stopping and was nominated for the Swiss Music Prize in 2014. Founder of Voodoo Rhythm Records and leader of the Swiss psychobilly band The Monsters, his music is rooted in early blues and rock'n'roll, but he adds a healthy dose of crazy, modern energy! With his wild and uncontrollable rock'n'roll performances, Reverend Beat-Man is described by his fans as "a nuclear blast on stage".

Blind Butcher, the Swiss duo consisting of Christian Aregger (vocals, guitar and synth) and Roland Butcher (drums, bass pedals and vocals), have been experiencing and refining their perfect blend of minimalism and technique in their music since 2010. After "Albino", released in 2013, "Alawalawa" released in 2017 and "Piss Me a Rainbow" released in 2019, the duo continued to innovate with "Catch 22", their latest album released in 2022: they released one new track per month throughout 2022 (well, almost, November being an exception)! These are the 12 danceable, but brutal tracks that the Braderie Urbaine’s audience will be able to discover.
